Qatar Shell Research & Technology Centre

In October 2003 Shell signed a Memorandum of Agreement to become one of the Anchor Tenants in the Qatar Science & Technology Park. This milestone was then followed by the announcement of the company’s technology programme and the signing of an agreement for a 10-year lease in February 2005. Shell plans a substantial expenditure of up to $100 million over a 10-year period for its activities in the Science and Technology Park.

People and organisation

We employ around 30,000 technical staff in centres across the world, from scientists to business experts, who work together to find innovative solutions to the energy challenge.
