Pearl GTL continues to improve safety record

At the peak of construction around 52,000 people worked on the Pearl GTL project. Keeping every worker safe has remained a top priority: in August 2010 the project reached 77 million hours without an injury leading to time off work. This was a record for Shell and Qatar.
